Since joining NFL Network in 2008, Wyche has expanded his lengthy journalism career to where he serves as a reporter, host and analyst. He is a regular on NFLN’s NFL Now, The Aftermath, GameDay Morning and Total Access. Wyche also spearheads the Pro Football Hall of Fame programming. He also is a senior writer for NFL.com and contributor for the NFL 360 feature broadcast series. Wyche is known for leading the way on some of the biggest sports stories in recent history, such as breaking Colin Kaepernick’s refusal to stand for the national anthem, Michael Vick’s dogfighting saga and Michael Jordan joining the Washington Wizards.
The Howard University graduate also handles a variety of off-air duties, such as hosting panel discussions at major NFL tentpole events, moderating social-justice and judicial reform panels and emceeing events such as the Black College Football Hall of Fame. Wyche also serves on the selection committees for the Black College and Polynesian Football Halls of Fame.
Before joining the NFL Network, Wyche was a longtime sportswriter with stops at the Richmond (Va.) Times-Dispatch, The Miami Herald, The Washington Post and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. He is married with three sons.
